Relive Untamed African Magic
Each year, the organisers of the Absa Cape Epic begin their race planning and preparations with one ambition - to create the ultimate mountain biking experience. 2010's exception was no exception. The course took the riders from Wellington into new territory for the race, sections of which were previously untouched by the tread of a mountain bike tyre. The route again followed the same format, with riders staying multiple days in each stage location weaving their way towards Oak Valley and Lourensford against the spectacular backdrops of Wellington, Ceres and Worcester. As in 2009, many of the world's best mountain bikers and dedicated amateurs gathered for the start in Cape Town, a host city of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. In 2010, registration was held at the V&A Waterfront, one of the continent's top tourist attractions. Now each and every one of you can relive the trials and tribulations of those who braved the 2010 Absa Cape Epic in the comfort of your very own armchairs...without the tired, aching muscles and saddles sores! The 2010 Absa Cape Epic DVD captures the essences of this 8-day, 722km epic story of beautiful vistas, challenging terrain and furious, high stakes racing told in three parts: - International Race Highlights
- Race Documentary
- Finish Line Emotions
